World Association of Sleep Medicine (WASM) First Congress

Questionnaire about accepting the measurement of sleepiness and stress for medical purposes
A major goal of the SENSATION project is not only to develop new Sensors and related systems, but to design them in a way that they are accepted and, thus, will be used by the public. It is vital for our work to integrate the users´ wishes, concerns and also fears regarding their state monitoring.
In order to do so, knowledge about the acceptance of sleepiness and stress measurements, concerning medical devices is urgently needed.
Thus we kindly ask you to complete the presented questionnaire. Please give as much information as possible.
Public Acceptance questionnaire released
A major goal of the SENSATION project is not only to develop new Sensors and related systems, but to design them in a way that they are accepted and, thus, will be used by the public. In order to do so, knowledge about the acceptance of sleeepiness and stress measurements at workplaces is urgently needed. Please help us to design an acceptable system by filling in either the english version or the finnish version of the questionnaire. Thank you very much for your time and effort that contribute significantly to the success of the SENSATION project.
First newsletter published
The first SENSATION newsletter has been published in July 2004 informing both the public and special interest groups about the aims and methods of SENSATION as well as of the achievements of the first period of the project.
